綜合描述

常綠纏繞（右旋）木質蔓藤。莖、枝皮孔不明顯；嫩枝綠色；小枝紅褐色。單葉，互生，革質；倒卵狀長橢圓形；基部鈍或圓形，先端鈍凸尖；背面具平行細脈；葉緣具不明顯鋸齒。花單性，雌雄異株，聚繖花序，多分枝，頂生或腋生；花５數，白色；花盤杯形。蒴果卵圓形，熟時橙色，３瓣開裂；種子濶橢圓形，具紅色假種皮。
